Adult Day Healthcare Transitioning To Private Sector
Sonora, CA -- Following a unanimous 5-0 vote by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors, Seniority Life Care At Home will now take over the County´s Adult Day Healthcare Services.
“We really want this partnership to work,” Dr. Bob Uslander told the Supervisors. “We really have a lot of confidence that this is going to be a really successful program.”
The County will continue to provide funding for the program on a limited basis through February of 2010.
Adult Day Healthcare provides a location for disabled and elderly adults to stay while their caretakers are away. Uslander told the Supervisors that he plans to keep the current staff in place.
