First Business Opens In Shopping Center

Sonora, CA -- A new business opened its doors in east Sonora Saturday morning.
The Tractor Supply Company store is located at 14879 Mono Way just west of Standard Road.
Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority Director Larry Cope says the store is a welcomed sight.
"It is a great addition to what is already offered in the county and provides our residents more shopping opportunities," says Cope.
The store employs a staff of around 15 full and part time workers. Joe Zurilgen has been hired to be the manager.
It is the first store in the new 40,000 square foot shopping center. Tractor Supply is taking up just over 19,000 square feet. The developers are working to find occupants for the remaining space.
