Friday Winter Storm Watch
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for all day Friday in the Sierra Nevada.
Snow levels will greatly fluctuate from 2500 through 6000 feet.
Snow accumulations of a couple of inches should be expected at 3000 feet. Eight inches to a foot of snow is possible at 5000 feet. Over a foot of snow is possible above 7000 feet.
Winds of 30 MPH should be expected with some gusts up to fifty MPH over the higher elevations.
Light snow will continue at times through Saturday afternoon.
