Berryhill's Run Clears Legal Hurdle

Sonora, CA -- Assemblyman Tom Berryhill has cleared a legal hurdle in his run for the District 14 Senate seat.
Berryhill states, "We were very pleased to find out today that the Court of Appeals has denied the petition of my opponent in the lawsuit about living in the District for more than a year."
Republican Heidi Fuller of Columbia had filed the petition, arguing that the state constitution mandates that lawmakers live in the district for one year before being an eligible candidate for office.
