Sonora, CA -- As the storm continues to envelop the Mother Lode outage numbers continue to skyrocket.

The latest numbers from P.G.& E. indicate that the number of outages has now surpassed 20,000.

Public Information Officer Nicole Liebelt reports 11,325 outages in Amador and Calaveras counties. In Tuolumne and a small portion of Stanislaus County there are 9,320 outages.

With more wet weather on the way and snow levels lowering P.G.& E. advises residents to have a supply of batteries, a battery powered radio, drinking water, food and prescription medicines on hand.

The Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Tuolumne and Calaveras counties will remain in effect until eight o'clock this evening.

The Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada has been extended to 4am Friday.

The Mark Twain St. Joseph's Medical Centers in Angels Camp, San Andreas and Valley Springs are closed for the rest of the day due to a lack of power.

Tuolumne County Transit is now on a Winter Schedule A.

After school programs have been cancelled at Jamestown and Columbia Elementary schools.

Power is out at La Contenta so the Social Media Seminar scheduled for this afternoon has been cancelled.
