Calaveras Community Foundation Awards $19,000 In Grants
San Andreas, CA -- Ten groups have recently been awarded a combined $19,000 in grants from the Calaveras Community Foundation.
Grants were awarded to the Resource Connection Food Bank, Calaveras Community Band, Faces of Hope Charitable Fund, Mountain Ranch Youth Alliance, Valley Springs Music Festival, San Andreas Community Covenant Church, Calaveras Adult Tutoring, Calaveras County Senior Center, Valley Springs Elementary School and Mokelumne Hill Community Trust.
Spokesperson Chyrl Hillis says additional grants will be given out by the Foundation before the end of the year. Since 2001, CCF has awarded more than $220,000 in grants and scholarships.
