Getting Pregnant Faster

Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA – The Associated Press reports a new California law will get rid of red tape and help some women to become mothers faster. The AP says a new California law aimed at making it faster and less expensive for women to get pregnant will go into effect January 1, 2013. It applies to women using sperm from a donor they know.

The AP says the bill was crafted with women who are single or in same-sex relationships in mind. The new law creates an exemption from federal rules requiring donated sperm either to be quarantined for six months or the man providing it to undergo repeated testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
