Hwy 108 Sunday Head-On Collision UPDATE
Sonora, CA -- Major injuries were suffered by all three of the individuals involved in that Sunday afternoon head-on collision on Hwy 108 east of Via Este.
According to the CHP report 56 year old Nancy Allison of Sonora, driving her 2008 Jeep in an eastbound direction, allowed her vehicle to cross over the solid double yellow line colliding head-on with a 2002 westbound Mitsubishi driven by 32 year old Kaycee Henry of Sonora. 12 year old Kanin Harleman of Ripon was in Henry's vehicle.
Allison and Henry had to be extricated from their respective vehicles. Allison was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center, Henry to Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto and Harleman to Memorial Hospital in Modesto.
Cause of the accident has yet to be determined. All three individuals were wearing their seat belts.
The accident occured at 3:20pm. Hwy 108 was closed for one hour.
