Hwy 49 Accident Results In Major Injuries
Angels Camp, CA -- The driver of a vehicle who went off Hwy 49 Tuesday afternoon and overturned north of Angels Camp has been airlifted to a hospital in Modesto with major injuries.
CHP Officer Jaime Castillo says the single vehicle accident was reported around 2:30pm. The vehicle, which went 20 ft. down an embankment, has been removed from the scene, but the cause of the accident is still under investigation. The name of the driver has not been released by officials.
