Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Tuesday - Wednesday
The next storm system will move into the area on Friday and Friday night.
Snow levels will drop to as low as 4500 feet.
Four to ten inches of snow is possible above 5000 feet in the Sierra. A quarter of an inch of rain is possible in the Motherlode. Gusty winds of 50 mph or more will accompany this storm at the highest elevations.
Currently, Highway 108 (Sonora Pass) is closed at Kennedy Meadows. Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass) is closed at Mt. Reba turnoff. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) is closed at Crane Flat.
