Mother Lode Football Playoff Schedule Set

Sonora, CA -- The Division IV Sac-San Joaquin prep football playoff schedule is set for the 2009 "second season."

With an 8-2 regular season record the fourth seeded Sonora High Wildcats will host the 7-3 and fifth seeded Whitney Wildcats Friday evening at seven o'clock. These two teams met in the opening round of the playoffs two years ago with Whitney coming away with the win.  6:45 will be the STAR 92.7 broadcast time with the kickoff set for seven o'clock.

With a 9-1 record and the Mother Lode League title tucked away for the first time in 12 years the third seeded Summerville Bears will host the only team they lost to in the regular season this year, 7-3 and fifth seeded Ripon.  The pregame show on 93.5 KKBN will get underway at 6:45 with the kickoff set for seven o'clock.

Both games will be audio streamed live on myMotherLode.com.

Elsewhere in the playoffs seventh seed Calaveras finished second in the Mother Lode League. The 6-4 Redskins will travel to 9-1 and second seeded Dixon.
