Snow Expected In The Sierra Nevada
Snow is expected in the Sierra Nevada from Wednesday evening into Thursday.
Snow levels could drop down to around 5000 feet by Thursday morning. Several inches of snow is possible above 6000 feet.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible over the higher terrain.
All of the local mountain passes are currently open but if you are heading into the high country, be prepared for winter driving conditions.
