Abandoned Vehicle's Driver Contacts C.H.P.
Sonora, CA -- The driver of the 2001 Chevy that was found off the roadway in heavy brush some 300 yards from the top of Old Priest Grade has contacted the C.H.P.
The un-named driver from Pacifica has told C.H.P. he was run off the road last night around ten o'clock. He crawled out of his vehicle and walked to his cabin in the Pine Mountain Lake area where he spent the night. The driver suffered only minor injuries.
The vehicle is in the process of being removed from the heavy brush. Officer Remmel states that Old Priest Grade Rd. will probably be closed for at least another hour.
