Sacramento, CA — Senator Tom Berryhill will talk about issues like CEQA Reform and the future of the $150 fire tax.
The District 14 Republican will be the guest on Mother Lode Views this weekend. Berryhill has introduced legislation to reform the California Environmental Quality Act, but it will be challenged by competing proposals from other lawmakers like Senate Democratic Leader Darrell Steinberg.
Berryhill will also talk about the controversy surrounding the $150 fire tax approved in 2011, speak about proposals to create enterprise zones in the state, and give his opinions about why he is concerned about water supply and long standing water rights.
In addition, he will speak about changes he supports to reform the controversial AB 109 program.
Berryhill’s District 14 covers both Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
