Voice Your Opinion

Yosemite, CA — You can let your voice be heard either in person or on the web.  Yosemite National Park has announced public meetings and webinars for the draft of the Merced and Tuolumne River Plans. The meetings and webinars are designed to provide information and get feedback from the public on the plans.

Yosemite Chief of Planning Kathleen Morse says, “What’s nice about the webinars is that it allows you to log on in your own home. Generally, what we do is a presentation and as that is going on people can type in their questions. Then at the end of the webinar we gather up all those questions and start fielding them so everyone can hear the answers. We can also type back quick answers or clarifications to people as the webinar is going on.”

The schedule of webinars and meetings for the Tuolumne River Plan:

Webinars:

Jan. 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Jan. 31, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
