Two Acres Burned Off Hwy 108

Sonora, CA -- Vehicle exhaust has been listed as the cause of a two acre vegetation fire Thursday afternoon on the south side of Hwy 108 east of Lime Kilm Rd.

According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Ed Allendorf the initial call was received at 3:13.

Responding were three CAL Fire engines, one Tuolumne County Fire Department engine, Copter 404 from the Columbia Air Base and one hand crew.

The fire was contained at 3:33pm and controlled at 6:43pm.
