Sonora, CA -- This weekend the respective health officers of Tuolumne (Dr. Todd Stolp) and Calaveras (Dr. Dean Kelaita) will join forces to dispel the myths and misinformation regarding the H1N1 virus and the H1N1 vaccine.
While there has been a tremendous amount of information disseminated concerning the virus and the newly released vaccine both doctors agree there remains a number of misconceptions and unanswered questions in the eyes of the general public.
For example; has the new vaccine been thoroughly tested ... who are the target groups for the vaccine ... how many of the shots will I need to be vaccinated and do I still need a seasonal flu shot if I receive an H1N1 virus vaccination?
All these questions and more will be answered in this week's Mother Lode Views.
