Calaveras County Readies For Flooding
San Andreas, CA -- Special Operations of the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department continues to prepare for what may be the worst of the remnants of the super typhoon Melor.
According to Captain Clay Hawkins sand and sand bags through the Public Works Department will be available at the Jenny Lind Yard, the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd. and Murphys Fire Department.
Historically Cosgrove Creek in the Valley Springs area and Murphys Creek are the first to flood.
