CAL Fire Reporting Cottonwood Rd. Vegetation Fire
San Andreas, CA -- CAL Fire is reporting a vegetation fire on Cottonwood Rd. near Mile Marker 14 in the Stanislaus National Forest.
The fire, with moderate spread, is reported to be three to four acres in size.
The initial response includes two water tenders, two hand crews and one dozer that is now on hold. Agencies involved are Tuolumne City Fire, the Tuolumne County Fire Department and Baseline Fire Camp.
According to CAL Fire Emergency Command Center Communications Operator Maryjo Boone Sierra Resource Management personnel reported the fire on the way to work.
