Two Lives Lost In Monday AM Murphys Fire
San Andreas, CA -- CAL Fire's Fire Prevention Officer Gordon Winningham has confirmed that two lives were lost in that Murphys Monday morning fire that destroyed a single family residence on Butte Mountain Rd.
Identities have yet to be released by the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department.
The 911 call was received at 4:26am. The structure was already fully involved when resources arrived. The fire spread to vegetation but was confined to only a quarter of an acre.
