Butte Mountain Rd. Structure Fire Update
San Andreas, CA -- Multiple agencies responded to the fire this morning that destroyed a single family, multi-level residence located at 2441 Butte Mountain Rd. (cross street Big Flat Rd.) in the Murphys area.
According to CAL Fire Communications Operator Jim DeVoll a 911 call was received at 4:26am. When firefighters arrived the structure was fully involved.
The response included seven CAL Fire engines, one hand crew and a battalion chief. Also responding were units from Murphys Fire, Angels City, San Andreas, Altaville-Melones and Ebbetts Pass.
One injured firefighter has been transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment.
