Calaveras Supervisors To Discuss H1N1 Response

San Andreas, CA -- The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will hear a report Tuesday on the local response to the H1N1 influenza.
Calaveras County has had four reported cases of the H1N1 virus, and health officials are working to prevent a potential surge this Fall and Winter. The Calaveras County Public Health Department is planning to conduct school-based and community H1N1 vaccine clinics during November.
The people most at-risk are children and young adults up to age 24.
The Supervisors will also hold a closed session to discuss a pair of lawsuits brought forth by the developers of the once proposed Trinitas golf project.
A separate closed session is scheduled to review the job performance of CAO Bob Lawton.
Tuesday's meeting begins at 9am in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in San Andreas.
