New U.S. Citizens Given Oath Of Allegiance In Yosemite
Yosemite, CA -- In honor of National Citizenship Day, a Naturalization Ceremony was carried out today in Yosemite National Park.
Approximately 35 people received United States citizenship at the event administered by the United States Customs and Immigration Service.
Countries of origin of the new citizens include China, Egypt, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Portugal, Syria, Trinidad and Yemen.
The new residents took the official Oath of Allegiance.
