Valley Springs Fire Caused $6,000 Damage
Valley Springs, CA -- It has been determined that a fire in the engine compartment of a 1950 CJ3 was the origin of the 26 acre vegetation fire in Valley Springs Thursday.
The fire started during the noon hour and firefighters remained on scene until 5:45pm. The estimated dollar damage is reported at $1,000 for the vehicle and $5,000 for the vegetation.
The fire was in the 800 block of S. Petersburg Rd.
