Bears Hit The Road To Open The Season

Tuolumne, CA -- Under fifth year Head Football Coach Ben Watson the Summerville High School Bears will hit the road this evening to open their new year against Bradshaw Christian in Sacramento.
While Watson feels the Bears will have a very balanced running and passing attack this year he's intrigued and grateful for the character of his athletes.
"I've never coached a team before where the all the players genuinely care about each other. You talk to any of our athletes and they always want to talk about somebody else on the team, not themselves."
One concern for Watson will be his defense which he feels is a bit undersized. At the same time he likes their experience and their ability play with such great intensity.
This evening's game will be broadcast live on Today's County, 93.5 KKBN at seven o'clock with Guy Dossi handling the play-by-play.
