Winners Spotlighted At Dancing With The Stars

Hajduks - Fox Trot Winners

Columbia, CA -- Mike and Nancy Hajduk, sponsored by New Horizon's After School Program, captured first place in the Fox Trot competition Saturday evening at the Tuolumne County Dancing With The Stars event at Columbia College while Rob and Laurie Lyons, sponsored by Re-Horse Rescue Ranch, finished first in the Cha Cha competition.
Ken and Rene Diaz (WATCH Resources) captured second place honors in the Fox Trot competition while Steve Boyack and Laura Leslie (Randi Murray's Dance Studio) gained the runner up spot in the Cha Cha competition.
The third place award for the Fox Trot went to Bob and Sandy Fisher (Sonora Area Foundation) while Mark Eilrich and Joyce Ann Ames (A-TCCA Mentoring Works) took home third place honors in the Cha Cha competition.
Winning couples in each competition received $500 ... second place; $300 and third place $200. The prize money was then donated to the favorite non-profits of the winning contestants.
In all 14 couples took part in the Saturday evening competition at the Oak Pavilion on campus. Beneficiaries are Omega Nu and the Columbia College Foundation.
