Copperopolis Man Arrested Following Dispute
Copperopolis, Ca -- 37-year-old David Scott Odell of Copperopolis is facing charges of public intoxication, resisting arrest, vandalism and negligent discharge of a firearm.
According to the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department, the arrest stems from a physical altercation earlier this week with some of his neighbors on Little John Rd. in Copperopolis.
When deputies arrived at Odell´sresidence, they heard gunshots. Odell was located and arrested. After being taken into custody, he reportedly shattered a window of a Sheriff´s Department patrol vehicle. The alleged incident occurred Sunday evening.
