Mother Lode Views Will Focus On State Parks

Columbia, CA -- Challenges facing local state parks will be discussed on Mother Lode Views this weekend.

Guests will include Columbia State Historic Park and Calaveras Big Trees State Park Sector Superintendent Vince Sereno, Railtown 1897 Superintendent Kim Baker and Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau Executive Director Nanci Sikes.

All three parks focused on are on the list Governor Schwarzenegger has proposed be closed down after Labor Day weekend.

Mother Lode Views can be heard on AM-1450 KVML Saturday at 9:30am and Sunday at 8:30am. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday on Today's Country 93.5 KKBN at 8am and an hour later on STAR 92.7.
