Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory Issued

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Sierra Nevada above 7000 feet, from noon on Wednesday to 4 PM Thursday.
Snow levels will begin near 7000 feet on Wednesday before lowering to 5500 feet by Thursday morning.
Snow accumulations of five to twelve inches is expected above 7000 feet.
Winds of ten to twenty-five mph are likely with gusts ranging up to fifty mph.
