Sierra Nevada Winter Weather Advisory Issued
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Sierra Nevada, from 10 pm Wednesday to 4 am Friday.
Five to fourteen inches of snow accumulation is expected above 6000 feet.
Wind gusts could reach up to 55 mph over the highest elevations.
Blowing and drifting of snow may restrict visibilities making travel hazardous with possible road restrictions and closures. Bring a winter kit including chains, if you travel through the mountains.
