Traffic Reminder: Morning Commute Delays
Road Work Ahead
Jamestown, CA - motorists will face lengthy traffic delays on two highways in Tuolumne County near Jamestown starting tomorrow. Caltrans will be grinding and paving a section of the highway 108 and 120. The shoulders of the Highway 108 will close alternately heading eastbound and westbound at the Highway120/Yosemite Junction. Also, Highway 120 from Mountain Bluff Road to Sims Road/Chinese Creek will be down to one-way traffic control tomorrow and Friday.
Angela Daprato with Caltrans says, "We encourage motorists to go ahead and go with their daily plan and just note that there will be delays of 15 t0 20 minutes. Please be alert to our construction crews and also other motorists."
The roadwork will be going on from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
