Magic of the Night is one of the City of Sonora’s annual events. It is free to the public with entertainment on both sides of Washington Street, from the Sonora Opera Hall to the Red Church. There will be several live bands and a DJ, dancers, jugglers, antique cars, corvettes, merchants specials for this night only. Washington Street will not be closed but several side streets will be, details were posted in KVML’s Wednesday “Newsmaker of the Day” story here.
The Native Daughters Golden Era Parlor Annual Dinner will be held Saturday to raise money for community outreach projects and scholarships to Columbia College, Sonora High School, Summerville High School and the newly added Groveland and Don Pedro High Schools.Dinner details and ticket prices are in the event listing.
