Settlement With Tulloch Resort?
Calaveras County Supervisors
San Andreas, CA -- Settling a lawsuit and discussion about Community Development Block grants highlight today's Calaveras Supervisors meeting.
The Board will vote on whether to approve a settlement agreement related to a lawsuit filed by the county against the Resort at Lake Tulloch. The county contends that events held by the resort sometimes draw 3000-4000 visitors and violate noise ordinances in the county. County documents state that the settlement talks centered on the resort complying with county rules related to Special Use Permits. If a settlement is not approved, the case is scheduled to go to trial in December.
In addition, there will be a presentation by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy regarding projects and activities in Calaveras County. The Supervisors will also ask for the public's input on potential projects regarding the 2014 cycle of state Community Development Block Grants.
Today's meeting begins at 9am at the Government Center in San Andreas.
