Crash At Bell Mooney And Hwy 108
HWY108 Bell Mooney Road Near Jamestown
Jamestown, CA -- There is an two car crash on Highway 108 and Bell Mooney Road near Jamestown. CHP reports a sedan has hit a dump truck. There is no word on injuries, but two ambulances have been called to the scene.
Highway 108 is completely shut down and traffic is backed up about a mile. A tow truck is en-route.
Motorists will want to use caution in the area or avoid it all together.

Update 1:50 pm: The CHP has set up detours down Bell Mooney, Harvard Mine and High school Roads. The CHP says the driver of the sedan has major injuries and is being taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center. The truck driver of the Tuolumne County owned dump truck has minor injuries.
Update 1:20 pm: The CHP reports tow trucks are stuck in traffic. They say the traffic is causing delays in getting the debris cleared from the roadway so it can be opened again.
Update 1:54 pm: The CHP says the highway is now open to one-lane traffic control. However, traffic is still backed up for over a mile.
