Copperopolis will be hosting its annual Homecoming celebration all day Saturday. The traditional pancake breakfast will be the first event of the day held in the Armory 8 -10:30AM. The Parade is at 11:00AM with an array of colorful characters, gunfighters, saddle queens, citizens, politicians and animals both tame and wild. There are many more events all over the Mother Lode on Saturday. In MiWuk there is a Fun Run, in Jamestown there is wine tasting and antique sales, in Tuolumne there is a Soap Box Derby, and in Groveland there is a Flea Market. Sonora is hosting another Tuolumne County Master Gardeners Open Garden Day with Water-wise Vegetable Gardening and Fire Safety topics discussed. Details in their event listing here.
Twain Harte the Rotary Club is sponsoring the Outhouse races again. Outhouse races begin at 9am. There will also be vendor booths, crafts, food, drink, and music will begin at 5pm.
