Relay Raises Nearly $100K
The Color Guard and 2013 "Survivor of the Year" Al O'Brien lead the opening lap
Sonora, CA -- Nearly $100K was raised in Tuolumne County in the fight to beat cancer.
Cancer survivors, and those that have lost the battle, were honored over the weekend at the 2013 Tuolumne County Relay for Life. Event co-chair Andee Houser is pleased to announce that $99,000 was raised this year. Hundreds of walkers took to the track at Sonora High School starting at 9am Saturday and the event concluded 24 hours later.
