Valley Springs, CA -- The CHP reports speed was to blame for a car versus pole crash in Calaveras County. It happened yesterday around two in the afternoon on Highway 12 and the intersection of Double Springs Road between Valley Springs and San Andreas.
The CHP reports 19 year old Austin Greenough of Valley Springs was driving a 65 Chevy eastbound on Double Springs Road when the accident happened.
