More Parking Problems Than Usual In Sonora

Sonora, CA -- There is already a shortage of parking in downtown Sonora and now there will be even less spots.
City Officials say the public parking lot at Green and Linoberg Streets will be closed for more than a month.
That is thanks to construction on the Green Street police station.
Repairs will begin Monday on the roof and garage of the building. The 13 parking spaces in the lot will be reserved for police vehicles while construction is done to the station.
