Railtown And Schroeder Highlight Events

Sonora, CA — There will be several events taking place this weekend in the Mother Lode.

It is opening day at Railtown 1897 in Jamestown. Train rides will run on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-3pm. Residents of Tuolumne, Calaveras and Mariposa Counties can ride for free this weekend. You will need to show proof of residency.

Todd Schroeder’s annual benefit concert will be Saturday night at Sonora High School. Money raised from the event will go to his Young Artist Grant Program. Joining Schroeder on the stage will be Wendy Tuttle, Sam Harris, Brooke Lundy, Kevin Fischer, Caroline Stainsby, Tim Christensen and Thomas Lauifi.

Also taking place this weekend are a couple of benefit pancake breakfasts, a crab feed, Spring Zumbathon, flea market and a Big Band Dance Party. Click here to find the Community events calendar that lists all the details.
