Rain Hits Downtown Sonora

Rain will taper to showers by Wednesday afternoon and may linger into early Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Rain totals in the Mother Lode will be up to one inch.
Snow accumulations in the Sierra Nevada of three to six inches are expected at around 6000 feet and higher.
