Ideas To Grow Economy
San Andreas, CA --The Calaveras County Supervisors will hold a special study session later this month to look at ways to grow the local economy. The Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Committee will also be involved. The idea was spearheaded by new District One Supervisor Cliff Edson.
Edson says, "It's open to the public. The Chamber will be there to give us some of their ideas to help our economy. We are asking the public to weight in on it because there are a lot people out there with good ideas. I think we need to work together to make that happen."
The study session will be held Tuesday, March 26th in the Supervisors meeting room in San Andreas. The Chamber of Commerce has also kicked off what's called a "Welcome Home" campaign, designed to showcase items that make Calaveras a desirable place to live and work.
