The new Chairwoman of the Calaveras County Supervisors will discuss big issues that will come before the Board over the next year.
On this weekend's Mother Lode Views, Merita Callaway will talk about the General Plan, local economy, AB-109, and the dynamic of the Board. The recent election saw three new members joining the Board of Supervisors, Cliff Edson, Christopher Wright and Debbie Ponte.
Callaway will also speak about recent county decisions, including plans to open a day-use reporting center for low level offenders, and changes in policy related to event permits for large gatherings.
Mother Lode Views airs Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 on AM-1450 KVML. Mother Lode Views can also be heard Sunday morning at 10 o'clock on 93.5 KKBN and at 9am on STAR 92.7.
