No Loot For Burglar
Sonora, CA - The Sonora Police Department reports a man broke into a medical office on Sunday around 1:18 in the morning, but left empty handed. However, police spotted the suspect a short distance from the medical facility and arrested him. Officers had gone to the Forest Road Prompt Care in the 100 block of Fairview Lane in Sonora in response to a security alarm going off. When they arrived on the scene they noticed a man riding away from the building on a mountain bike. As officers inspected the property they discovered the glass at the front door was shattered.
Officers began a search for the man. They found 28 year old Christopher Weakley of Sonora riding just down the street and stopped him for questioning. During the questioning, police found physical evidence on Weakley which tied him to the attempted burglary. Weakly was arrested and booked at the Tuolumne County Jail.
