Liability Insurance For Guns?
Sacramento, CA - Some California lawmakers are taking aim and could make getting gun insurance a state law. The Associated Press reports Democratic Lawmakers are proposing legislation that would require California gun owners to buy liability insurance. That insurance would cover any damages or injuries caused by the gun owner's weapons. Assemblyman Jimmy Gomez of Los Angeles says the legislation would encourage gun owners to take firearms safety classes and keep their guns locked up in order to get lower insurance rates.
