Deadline Near For Candidates

Sonora, CA — In just over two weeks we’ll have a very clear picture of which candidates will be on the local June 3 primary ballot.

Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Bautista says the period to turn in the needed paperwork closes March 7, and for races where the incumbent is not running, the deadline will be extended by five days to March 12. The list of candidates could potentially grow over the coming days, as Bautista has been fielding new phone calls from individuals interested in different races.
