Sacramento, CA -- Texas Governor Rick Perry is encouraging California businesses to move to the Lone Star State.

The Governor is voicing radio ads in several California markets where he invites business owners to, "Come check out Texas." Perry adds that his state has "low taxes, sensible regulations and a fair legal system." He also says that, "building a business in California is next to impossible."

The ads were funded by a public-private partnership known as TexasOne.

California Governor Jerry Brown dismissed the ads when asked Monday evening at an event in Los Angeles. He said, "The ideas, the structures, the climate, the opportunity is right here on the Pacific Rim."

Perry occasionally visits California trying to recruit companies, and often notes that Texas has the fastest growing job market in the country.
