Planning Commission To Review Projects
Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Planning Commission will vote on a proposed natural childbirth facility, and review updated plans for a subdivision near Pine Mountain Lake.
On Wednesday, the Commission will vote on a proposal to turn an existing residence at 16575 Draper Mine Road into a natural childbirth center. The applicants are Ellen Jasmer and Sara and Jennifer Painter. The home sits on 3.2 acres. Long-term, the project consists of three phases that would spread over 15 years. Phase one is to convert the residence into two birthing suites for expectant mothers. The second phase is to add a third birthing suite, and the third phase is the construction of an additional residence on the property, which would include three more birthing suites.
The Commission will also take up a matter related to rescinding the Tuolumne Oaks Subdivision, approved back in 1996. The Commission will vote on an ordinance change for the property. Wednesday’s meeting will begin at 6pm in the Tuolumne County Supervisors meeting room.
