InFocus Photography Awards
Sonora. CA -- A picture is worth a thousand words and some awards too. The Central Sierra Arts Council's is recognizing some photographers for their picture perfect shots in the 26th annual InFocus photography competition and exhibition.
This year's winners:
Charles Moore Excellence in Photography - Laurie Sylwester, Trujillo Dancers
Best of Show - Connie Casinnetto, Inside
Color:
First Place - Rich Miller, This is Gonna Hurt;
2nd Place - Susan Conner, When the Sun Comes Back
3rd Place - Laurie Sylwester, San Blas Corpus Christi
Honorable Mentions - Lorraine Nilson, Star Trails Over Mono Lake and Volker Norpchen, Sunset Cedar Ridge
Monochrome:
First Place - Andrew Quist, Preservation Hall
2nd Place - Derek Rosen, Sam
3rd Place - Eric Bjerke Street Chess
Honorable Mentions - Kevin Reilly, Moss Beach and Daniel Ryan, Pond Reflection
