Mother Lode Road Delays
Motorists can expect delays on a couple of Mother Lode roads Wednesday as part of the CVIN broadband infrastructure project.
CVIN officials say they will be working on the rock wheel trenching on a stretch of Morning Star Drive, between Greenley Road and Barretta Street in Sonora. Also, it will be stop and go traffic on the O'Byrnes Ferry Bridge. Crews will be putting up steel piping on the side of the bridge.
Motorists can expect delays of 5-10 minutes at both locations. CVIN asks motorists to slow down and watch out for workmen on both roads. Allow yourself extra time when traveling in the areas.
