Arnold, CA -- Details about this morning's Vallecito school bus incident have been released. According to CHP officer Mike Joslin icey road conditions and being in a rush were the culprit.

It was 7:40AM, a Vallecito Unified School District bus driven by Linda Stephens was picking up children at a bus stop. As the bus began traveling again on Highway 4 just east of Oak Circle in Arnold, Sarah Belchak a 19 year old from Berkeley, tried to pass the bus in her Chevy Tahoe.

Belchak lost traction and slid into the back of the bus. Two of the 29 students, a 10 year old and an 11 year old were taken to Mark Twain Medical Center with minor injuries. All the parents were notified of the incident.
